C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Material Handler in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Material Handler: $18-$20/hr.; Monday-Friday (8 hr. shift)

Responsibilities for Material Handler:

• transfer raw materials and parts from warehouse bin locations for production work orders
• transfer finished product from production areas to warehouse bin locations
• consolidate inventory in warehouse bin locations
• transfer parts from receiving area to warehouse bin locations
• assist with cycle counts and inventory control tasks
• general warehouse housekeeping

Requirements for Material Handler:

• minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience is desired
• high school diploma or equivalent
• working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems and inventory control practices
• material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• forklift certification is a plus
• familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
• must be detail oriented and able to multi-task and count accurately
• clean background and ability to pass drug screening
